Dorking and surrounding areas have always been a regular scouted location for various filming of movies, tv series and now adverts.
Over the years Dorking have been a featured location on many tv series and films like the 2002 series of JUST WILLIAM, the 2013 series MAY DAY heavily focused around the town, 2012 WRATH OF THE TITANS filmed on the Dorking side of Coldharbour just to name a few.
This time it's an advert for Lloyds Bank depicting the success and the building of character of a young girl who becomes a professional down hill mountain biker. This is a nod to the popularity of mountain biking throughout the Surrey Hills.
Starting up at Cotmandene the young girl leaves her house, to later be seen riding through the back of Denbies and to fall of her bike in the frosty woodland of Leith Hill.
With the help and guidance from a particularly known black horse she gets back up and proceeds to become a strong rider.

We wonder when Dorking and its scenic surrounding areas will be the star of the big screen again?
Maybe the odd Marvel film has already been seen filming??? Keep your eyes peeled.
